| Dream Theater – Overture 1928 Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Yea! This song is really great, much melody in it and the second riff (The first 'real' riff) rocks. Or I love how it sounds and how you just can sit back and smile at those beautiful melodys you know | |
| Dream Theater – Beyond This Life Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
One of my absolute favourites of dream theater...but I think that the studio version is to lame sounding and lame singing. But live at budokan this song is just, as someone said on another forum, SEX! Not really but I like very much indeed. Especially the part in the end where the keyboard and guitar playes in unison. |

| Dream Theater – The Root of All Evil Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I have to say the most worse songs by dream theater has to be This Dying soul and even more "The Test that stumped it all" It's like "Hallo! What the hell are they doing in that song?" | |

| Dream Theater – Lie Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I how his "addiction to alcohol" has affected his life...but it seems to be veeery personal lyrics on this one Great by james LaBrie to be able to sing lyrics that others had wrote like if they were his own...Just that's great to be a singer...and he sings really good oon this song and so do on the whole awake album... I love the video to this song, it's so much attitude in it and in the solo to... (Isn't the video shot in Japan?) |

| Dream Theater – The Mirror Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I had figured out that maybe "lie" wich has some connections with this song is about what had happened in mike portnoy's life because of his "addiction to alcohol" | |
| Dream Theater – Lie Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Maybe it has something to do with something that mike portnoy had done because of his alcohol habit that was in "the Mirror" "I had gotten used to being a soul destroyed She comes in apparently to fill the void All dogs need a leash and at least I'll forget it And she would never hurt me though she's never said it But I'm not gonna ask her today I don't wanna scare her away Your town, I'm all alone and I just can't stare at the phone I wanna talk about lifelong mistakes and you can tell your stepfather I said so" |

Isn't a form with eight corners? And nightmare cinema seems familiar to me...hmm |
|
| Dream Theater – In the Name of God Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
by reading through the lyrics It seems to very much handle Islamistics and not any other religion... Petrucci is christian right? hmm... Well, maybe it's true what's in the text but I think he would think very much of his own country where the sick Bush rules and all his servants and the Fox news speaking to the whole world and talking about nothing else but SHIIIT!!! Fox news should take a LOOOOOOOOOOONG holiday (To be exact...8 billions years!) |
|
| Dream Theater – In the Name of God Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I hope this song isn't just about radical-islamists because for example Bush had said many thing about good and is christian and like in USA you can find a lot of fundamentalist...so... Hope this song is about a all religions...Hadn't read through the lyrics...but should do it soon...but in the beggiining it's something 'bout "Scepter and a gun" and doesn't the pove have a scepter? |

| Dream Theater – Hollow Years Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Yea YtseJam...I agree to 100% with you...everytime I hear that solo the hair on my arms stands tall!!!:D But I think the studio version of this song is a bit lame...it's just a very long song with a sad sound that just goes on and on...But the budokan version is just mindbreaking (Or what you should say in english;)) |

| Dream Theater – Metropolis, Pt. 1: "The Miracle and the Sleeper" Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Yea! I love this to...and the part where "I was told there's a miracle for each one that has died...I was told there's a new love that has born for each one that has died..." that is just GAAAH!!!!....I can't hold for that... (What I mean is that it's so fucking, unbeliveble awsome!"!!!!!!= | |

Great! Good that they are a bit political to...I feel by some accident that Dream Theater isn't political enough, to americanized but you can't have everything really...they write really good lyrics (And are inteliggent people) and really good lyrics if you compare to much modern music... Great song! It's so awsome, in the once in a livetime DVD when they playing this song you can hear the crowd sing along at the end so unbelivebel loud!!!1 Ahhh! |
