"as soon as you and me have done it"
"and save the used rubber to show em the proof of it"

ive always wondered if its about phil anselmo. randy is said to not like him (redneck supposedly about him). the obvious phil heroin problem. he "wont say his name". and the name pariah or untouchable, phil, the self-proclaimed king of metal (and probably correctly so for a while) was untouchable for a while. on that level, but still loved his junk. i dont know, i was really stoned when i thought of that......im not saying this is right, so please dont bother being rude if u correct or criticize. |

A few of the meanings above make sense, but i just want to add something that has nothing to do with the meaning of the song. The best part of this song is "My redemption lies in your demise. In such a world as this does one dare to think for himself?" |

"I live know solely for the pleasure of your slow decay (btw)"
I think it's actually "I live NOW soleley for the pleasure of your slow decay". Makes more sense. I think. Kick ass guitar riffs in this one. |

the music towards the end, where it keeps stopping and kicking back in, sick! and the lyrics "You finally made it home Draped in the flag that you fell for", sick as well. |

"How come so? you used to be" is wrong. It says "A Ghost of who you used to be". and of all the talk of redneck sounding pantera-influenced, the riff during the Pathetic Wasted SOULESS COMPROMISED part sounds way more like pantera than any part of redneck. |

i hate to agree on this, because cobain is like a god to me, but not just in this song, but a lot of seethers songs i notice little parts (not even whole songs or choruses) that do remind me of kurt cobains voice. whether he's trying to or not is pointless to argue about, no one can say except him. |

im really stoned right now, so if im way off, sorry. but isnt cube root the number that to the 3rd power equals the answer? Isnt that different than the "a number that comes from dividing another by itself, then by the original number again" posts? any number divided by itself is one and divied by the number again would be a fraction of one, right? not to be a nerd or anything. like the cube rt of 8 is 2. 2x2x2=8. If you took 8 divided by itself, 1, divided by 8 again, it'd be 1/8. Or am i losing it.........?? |

| System of a Down – Chic 'n' Stu Lyrics
|

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but I just got really stoned and after all this time, figured this out. Chic 'n Stu are Chic Hearn and Stu Lantz, the LA Lakers commentators up until Chic Hearn died a few years ago. Stu Lantz still does the games. The beginning of this song, without question, is a famous Chic Hearn saying, when the game was obviously decided, "The game is in the refrigerator, the door is closed, the lights are out, the butters getting hard". Chic would sometimes add "the jello's a-jigglin", but this song doesnt say that. I can't beleive I always thought of this as Chicken Stew and not Chic and Stu. AWESOME SONG. AWESOME reference to the greatest sports commentator of all time!!!! |
