That's no excuse, I dont think that men should be sacrificed for an unecessary cause, but I do think we should have some fucking respect for those who are willing to risk their lives and die for a cause. It doesnt matter whether u like the song or not, Just think for a second: "Could this band know ANYTHING about war without being involved in it or the processes behind it?" Politicians are bullshitters, but musicians are just as bad. Find out some facts for yourself instead of taking in everything a band tells you to.

i agree it's about sex... ever stop to think that MAYBE the artist didnt intend to hide some subliminal message in all their songs??? For chrissakes the chorus is "I wanna fuck you like an animal", maybe it's not some super psychological thing, maybe he just wants SEX!!! a lot of artists have said before that when they write a song, it's not nearly conscious enough to have a "Deeper meaning", it's just them trying to make a song that sounds good and conveys an emotion. This song does that, dont get into "Oh it's about romance and there's a greek word in there that means ladder and blah blah blah" Sure, I'll bet there's a deeper meaning in the song, but I dont think you can find it solely in the lyrics. Think about how you feel when you listen to it as a whole; if this song were played to a dinky, preppy soundtrack, you would take it as a joke and you would come to a different conclusion as to what it means. that doesnt mean u all are wrong, it's just my oppinion that maybe this shit shouldnt try to be over analized to the point where it loses all sense of what the song even makes you feel like.

I kno this has been beaten to DEATH... but what's up with the softer stuff? Dont get me wrong, I love slipknot, I loved Vol. 3, and I loved this song, it's really expressive and moving. But it doesnt follow the criterea of what slipknot was before. JW if they ran out of Fury to pour in their lyrics or if they're thinking of going into a different direction. Plz, no posts like "GO LISTEN TO BRITNEY SPEARS IF U HATE SLIPKNOT" or w/e bullshit that is becuz it makes u look fucking stupid. besides, slipknot rocks and I wanna see if someone can give me a half-assed reason why they've gotten toned down

man, songs like this remind me how far Cannibal Corpse has fallen... i still think they're badass, but not as good as before. Before they would sing about shit like smashing people's heads in... now they TRY to be sick, but it's all old.
