THis song would be so perfect for a human video....in first verse...it shows a man or a couple people search for God in their lives.....and the second verse is how they turned their back on God and how they feel incredibly guilty for it...and the end where it breaks loose....it showing the crucifiction of Jesus and how all of the people that betrayed God Submit to him and bow down....then at the end when the music fades away someone hold ups a sign that says....thats definetely a rough idea...but i can see it all in my head and i get chills every time i think of it....what an amzingly powerful song |

As i do with most songs...i relate them to what happens in my life....so i feel a less isolated in my misfortunes....You all have some good points to the relatinships with God and what not...but i think the wiriter just wants someone to hold....and open arm to comfort him......his heart is hurt and he is miserabled....he feel like something is missing in his heart and he wants to fill that void with an open arm...im probably wrong but ohh well |

I think this song is about a struggle with a girl that the writer really wants to be with....but he knows he can't or he has tried but she has just broken his heart....He feels like its the right relationship and right girl for him, but he knows its just the wrong time.....But he doesnt want to believe that.....He knows God is making him wait for some reason.....and he knows itll make sense in the end |

I absolutely love this song. Frunt has a good idea of the song...but i sort of interpretit related to my own experience. Brandon is talking about how a Godly relationship took a turn for the worse and they removed God from it... I think the "you were smiling baby" has do with after the relationship was broken off and he tries to think of the good times they used to have. Its almost like he is regretting stopping the relationship...but he knows he has to "take the other road." It is almost like he is blaming the light/God when he says "the one responsible for all of this"....the one that convicted him about the unGodly relationship....maybe im way off but thats what ithink |
