I definately agree. Right after the intro there is that pause and then he says you do it again. So this lead me to believe it is about equipment issues. Plus all the lyrics like bad guitar, stereo, bad timing, fuzzy filter, beat maker, and overdrive.... gotta be |

I realize that this song was written for Halo 3. But take it from someone who knows, this song is about soldiering. No matter what, completing the objective, saving your comrades.
As far as some of the other stuff...
After the fall we'll shake if off... after getting hit by a ied or a bad helo jump, you get ratteled and go on
The shadow on the wall thing... if there's a shadow on the wall, one part is lit up and one part isn't thus creating a contrast. So the missing part of the light on the wall is on the person who just got spotted. Same as where they say cover blown.
