My friend has this song on his ipod... for some strange reason. I think I downloaded it onto his computer one day and he put it on his ipod. Which is strange because neither of us listen to emo. By the way I seriously doubt that OldskoolrockerJTS has ever even picked up a musical instrument. It is true that a sixth grader could play this song, but I don't know why he complains about the simplicity of it. How do you expect them to influence anyone, they only have one album! I don't listen to these guys, but I think that i would rather listen to them than talk to OldskoolrockerJTS for five seconds. |

Are you really old enough to be considered an oldschool rocker? STOP INSULTING OTHER BANDS AND GROW UP! I don't care how great the musicians are, how do you expect any of these new bands to have influenced any other bands? They're only a few years old! Sure talented musicians rock, but who cares! I never said that I was better at writting songs than you (Once again you prove to be a dumbass). I said that I know more about writting songs than you do (You compaired a song to a book). You could know absolutely everything about writting songs and still suck at it. And just because you know some people in a band doesn't mean all song writters are like them! For your information... I think Good Charlotte sucks too! They are in the bottom of the barrel when it comes to music. Why did you even bring them up if you don't like them? By the way, it is seriously doubtable that you are Eddie Vedder, just because of the fact that almost all of the people who post here are teens who want to say how much they love or hate a band or song. Why would you waste your time commenting on Simple Plan if you were Eddie Vedder? And I diddn't say "You can't write songs about things that don't happen to you." For the one who called me a dumbass for not enjoying this song, maybe you should take the time to think before posting. I AM in a band and that means I DO know more than you do about writting songs. Its hard to find a song thats not based on experience, so i guess that means your the dumbass for even thinking about a song compaired to a book. If anything a song is closely related to poetry. And i'm not saying that my band is any better than simple plan, I just didn't like this song. (By the way i saw an interview with simple plan and for those of you who still don't know what this song is about, its about a friend of the singer who died in high school from drinking and driving.) |

This song is awesome. I just heard these guys at a friends house and they rock! The pick sweeping in the beginning of this song is crazy (not really a solo though.) Probably one of the best songs i've heard in a while. |

Lol i agree with OldskoolrockerJTS completely! Talented musicians dont get any of the credit they deserve. i can bet you'll never see a dream theater music video on tv EVER! trust me when i tell you a monkey could play helena if you give it the time lol. i dont hate the song, but my chemical romance doesnt have any talent. they play basic drum beats, basic power chord construction and they get more fans than someone with talent. i dont want to bash the band, i do like listening to their music if i come across it on the radio or something, i just won't download their music or buy an album. |

i really don't like this song. it really confuses me why they made it. If it is about how he would feel if he DID get in a car crash than that sucks. Being a musician in a band i know that a lyric writter needs to write a song based on what happened to them before, not about feelings thay never went through happened. |
