This is a very, very good song. Its good that nelly finally wrote a song that means something good, unlike his other ones bout chicks and hoes etc... You can tell this song came from nellys heart. It is a very good remake (cept for the chorus). Yeah, This song is basically nellys take on life. |

I dont think im right. but meh. This is what i feel the song means. I know im a fake. I know how many people are fakes. And truthfully, IT MAKES ME SICK! I cant halp being fake, Caus if i show my true emotions everyone around me will fall. I think this song represents how bert feels. He is all happy on the outside but inside hes bleeding. If he starts to show how he really feels (he shows it in songs) everyone around him will feel that way, or as i would say 'fall'. It just shows how people are different on the outside, but they feel so much differently on the inside, like so many people in this world that are FAKE! |

One thing i hate. Is that when some people listen to a song. They only like it caus it sounds cool! They dont listen to the lyrics or shit. To them its just an awesome song. But meh. I dont know if any of you people hae experienced 'cutting' but people that have can really relate to this song. I mean really. "With the absence of eye, I can start to bleed again..." - When everyone is gone, you can start to bleed again. Or as some would say 'cut'. "With the color of hearts it seems like you wear right thin" - Note that the color of hearts represents 'red' red meaning blood. "And as it falls from your mouth, it seems like you needed it more" - Everyone is so selfish. They say shit. But do not know shit. And as all of it falls from there mouths it seems like they needed it more than we did. "Get the fuck out, stay the fuck out. It makes me sick" - Is how you feel towards everyone else. Just get the fuck out. Stay the fuck out. When they find out they try and help. But you are alright. (better off without them.) "Slit wrist theory stains us all!" - Almost everyone feels what people who cut themselves feel. But the people that do slit there wrists act on their feelings. To me they have more guts than anyone else in this world has. "Lace me up" - The healing process. Both physically and mentally. "I'm still looking for these angels in the snow" - Angels represent the cure/answer. The snow just represents everything. Why you are so depressed etc... Anywho... i dont have time to explain the whole song. I hope others can relate to it as much as i did. Wit. |
