to me the first chorus is definatly about getting high on something... it seems to me when the backup vocals scream "We’re all dead now !!" it means that friends mean nothing to you when you high. once u get high u only care about you or your next fix.. |

my guess is, "cant you stop the lies coming from the skies" means that since he died from drugs, people r making lies about him and saying stuff and lauri hates hearing it because he loves his friend and he wants the lies to stop |

its not about drugs, obviously its about an eating disorder... "Preparing to consume herself" is a hint and... "From stunning smile to flesh and bone" obviously means she used to be beautiful but now shes 2 skinny. "She does not feel her own restraint" means that she cant tell that her body is dying. maybe its about a model who let her expectations get the best of her |
