This song is about the Iraq war ... but it is directed at how they think Bush has been unjust. How he sees himself as a superpower and masks his brutality by saying that its for the good of the Iraq people ... We don't want to show restraint Because we like the violence We are security Wrapped in our brutality And then the "where we belong..." bits are about how the writer feels that we shouldnt have gone to war, that it was wrong. We deserve to be somewhere that we can't harm others. And the song also shows that the writer feels we ALL know this to be true, but don't want to admit it: A feeling that we all push down So it can't be found That's what I think at least ... of course all songs have thousands of different meanings to different people.
