| Eye Alaska – I Knew You'd Never Fly Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Honestly I feel like so much of this song is about a person trying to find purpose and meaning in the midst of everything. Like in terms of waking up, he's talking about coming out of living a purposeless life. "We know that we are not alone and We have never been so far away from you" |

Found this song on last.fm The track is so simplistic but the words are so heavy... I love the contrast. It just reminds me of those times and relationships in our lives that are so enjoyable, but we know that they won't last... that they were never intended to. It just makes you do some hardcore reflection. So good.. |

Just got the new cd and I am jamming to this song. I think the last line pretty much sums it up: "the kindest love is still bleeding from the last shot" Real love, true love is expressed by loving and moving forward even when it hurts more than anything. It's kind of like that analogy of turning the other cheek and loving anyway. When they say I'm afraid you've stopped to lick your wounds, maybe its like, it's no good to sit hurt and dwell on how you've been hurt... which is something we all do. But "it's no good if you can have it all." That's not real life. |

This is my FAVORITE Copeland song of all time. I've been listening to it for years now and have yet for it to get old. I think this was definately written out of a lot of Aaron's pain, but it applies to every one of our lives. Seriously, "Feel the pain, teaching us how much more we can take"... among the most powerful, meaningful words in song history. It just reminds me of one word: redemption. No matter how many times we're hurt, there is always a chance to get back up again. Its a message I will never get tired of. Thank you Copeland, for playing this song. |

| Copeland – Hold Nothing Back Lyrics | 17 years ago |

First off, I know this isn't a "christian" song and copeland is not a "christian" band, but lets get real about the lyrics here. Of course this fits perfectly for a romantic relationship and could very well be about that, but I think it can also apply in a bigger sense. Truth of the matter is, we learned the concept of love itself from God! Who else could say, "Say what you want But I know what you’re thinking Go where you want But I won’t be too far Go where you want And I know where you’ll end up" There is only one being in the universe who knows all, sees all and controls all, and that is God. He commands us to love one another with a sacrificial love (hold nothing back), but he also has "fallen in love" with us and will withhold no good thing from us. The Bible says so. Anyways, that's just what this song means to me. There just seems to be too many comparisons for it not to apply. |

This song is amazing. I think it basically sums up any break-up. I know it fit mine to a t. It's that nagging in your heart that you can never go back to the way things were, but you want to so bad that you try to ignore how they are until the point where you are just killing yourself with all the trying. The we will never be the sames on the end are so raw. I love it. |
