I didn't read all of the comments on this song....some of them, and I think the song's meaning may be related to some of them. BUT what i think the song means is that all his friends are in good relationships and learning and moving on, but he is stuck on this one girl that is not right for him and she makes mistakes, and he makes mistakes too and even though he knows the relationship is not right, it's what he wants for the current moment. Like he's comfortable and can't break away from it because it feels right but deep down he knows it's not right. I don't know. |

I think you can apply this song to a lot of different people and situations, but for me, when I was transferring colleges to go to a bigger school for soccer, I had to decide to leave my friends and everything around me that was so comfortable, i made some immature mistakes at this first college and to stay there would have been the easy way out. This song kind of explains my thinking at the time and when i was going through that tough time I would always listen to this song.....if anyone cares... :) |

I had never even bothered listened to this song, but then once I listened to it I am obssessed with it!! I never feel like people understand how I think, especially in a relationship with a guy, and just the chorus kind of makes me think of someone understanding you on such a closer level, it's awesome. 311 is amazing, I can't even explain how much I love their music! |
