I guess I forgot to mention that in the end chorus, "subject to falling" changes to "f-f-f-falling." In many ways, this song reminds me of Papa Roach's "Scars." It's about a person who is trying to save someone from him or herself, and the bond that forms between two such people. Circumstances vary widely, but the story is always the same. Unless the other party is able or willing to make the necessary changes, eventually the "savior" must let go and allow the other person to fall away, lest he be caught in their wake. You can't save someone else; only they can do that. However, you'd be well advised to clear the blast zone before it's too late to save yourself as well. |
