Well first of all this is not a simple plan discussion but what the fuck I AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHO SAY THAT SIMPLE PLAN SUCKS BECAUSE THAT'S THE TRUTH!, their lyrics and music sucks, the guitar sounds all the same in every song and his voice WAGHH my little sister sings better than him. Now, going to what this is about... Atreyu and this beautiful song: this one is absolutely beautiful the intro and the last guitar solo are simply amazing there are no need for lyrics in that last solo, with the simple music you can feel the intention of the music and that's what makes the difference in a band; the feeling that they put in their music and Atreyu has feeling and sense in every single of their songs. I can't stop listening to this whole album and it helped me to be a better musician (I'm a drummer) by playing their songs that some of them are really complex for a begginer... Atreyu rocks!!!! Hey and coconut33 I agree, i can also play every single simple plan song by just listening to it once, they're so fucking predictable and sometimes the chords doesn't even make sense.

This is an awesome song, I just can't stop listening the last part, the guitar goes so well with the voice, and I agree with the ones who say that it would be better with a melodic voice, but anyway it's awesome.

For me this song is about the repression that some parts of the society we have, like workers, poor students and minorities in general, and is abput the every day fight that we have to deal with to survive and live in the way we deserve it, the best song in the album, after For The Workforce, Drowning.

I've been listening Thursday for about 6 months and analizing some lyrics, they do write about relationships but also you can relate the songs to many other aspects of life, but for me this song is about forgeting someone (anyone i mean, b/f, g/f, familiar, father, friend...) that maybe was causing some pain to you and you are trying to restart again your life without this person.

Thursday – For The Workforce, Drowning Lyrics

I think this song is about asking for the rights of the working class, maybe is a scream of despair, I say this as a worker, as part of the working class, personally, the economic situation is everything but good and workers like me, we just want a change and I can relate a lot to this song specially where it says ''without a name, just numbers, on the resumé stored in the mainframe, marked for delete'', that's the way I feel about the treat they give to us. Amazing song by Thursday.

Amazing song, I think is about when you expect something from someone (in this is song I think is about government or politics or something like that) and they promise a lot of things, a better life or a better country and they just don't do anything, so this song is basicly about breaing the silence (BREAK THE SILENCE, WAKE THE DEAD)and wake the dead makes reference to all of us, that most of the times we stay like in a ''dead'' state, so this is a protest to ask for a change, a protest to make all those liars to make true all of their promises or scream at their faces that we want the change for that better life that they promissed, and that we won't stay quiet.

I love this song, the lyrics just speak for itself, the first time I listened it, I was just pissed of because of my country situation and reflecting how hard is to live in such a big city like this one, I love this song, I can absolutely relate to it, Thursday is such a great band ... This song is probably one of the best songs I've ever heard, I can relate to it absolutely, it reminds me the situation I have with a girl right now, she's just someone impossible for me but I can't take her out of my mind someday I'll dedicate her this song. Brilliant lyrics and music.
