Sex Pistols – Bodies Lyrics 20 years ago
This song is stupid. It is plainly opinionated. So stupid that I do not even want to hear the song. As for abortion, everyone has free will, which means that they make moral decisions by themselves. There is also general will, society's say in matters. Ethics and laws are mostly from the majority, but the minority has rights, too. If the majority are Christians, then the majority is pro-life, which means that abortion is wrong; but in the minority's eyes, the rest of the people, believe that it is right to have a choice in the matter. There will be no utopia and there will never be because of free will.
How can you make people do what they do not want to do? People speak of freedom, yet they make laws to restrict themselves so that others would not get harmed or killed. Tell me, how can you stop a person from any actions that is unpredictable? You cannot because you do not know what will happen. Society, the government, put fears in people's mind by enforcing laws in hope that people follow fear than their will. I am tired of this shit. Fuck society, ethics, and fear! I'm moving to another country or start my own.

Filter – Take A Picture Lyrics 20 years ago
Incredible. All of you are lousy interpreters on lyrics. Don't any of you read from what other posted before you? Some of you just repeat things over and over. We get the point. Move on.
As for the lyrics, to me, it seems to be about a person has an epiphany, because he or she feels like a newborn, and is screaming against his "Dad", which is God, for letting him be ignorance about the world; as if he or she is in the Stone Age with his or her nose in the Bible, believing what it says. The person now believes that there should be no sanctity or holy things because there is no need to be afraid. The person wants to remember what he learns so he would not forget by a document, the picture. In the end, the person is now getting away from the ignorance with new knowledge, innovations, technology, such as the airplane.
Now, if only people would interpret lyrics like I have, we would not need all these miscellaneous messages.

Paula Cole – I Don't Want To Wait Lyrics 20 years ago
Whoa! I just recently joined. I looked over my favorite songs, and everyone posted their opinions before I did. Well, anyways, I hate people who post miscellaneous things.
Okay, back to the song. The song sets in WWII. The man left the woman to go to war. The man miss seeing his children grow. Basically, the his passed generations of males went to war, just like what he did. It is about peace, family, war, hope, and love. That's pretty much.
