*Useless fact* In case anyone wants to know, this was a song made by matt when he was the lead for a band called the Rodchester Kings. I think the song is about someone thinking up old memories. The guy standing in the rain reflecting on his life. Matt sings about not getting one last dance. He thinks them up and then puts them away. He also says that the thorn in your side can only make you stronger. Bad memories and experiences will make you more aware to further bad experiences in the future. Over all matt kick ass all over again. |

why has no one made a post Although short, this song is amazing. In the war climate of today the atrocity means the way in which various governments took part in the war on terror. I dont wanna die. That says it all. I dont believe for a second that there is one person out there saw what happened in the world and didnt think, this could be it. infinty land is full of hintings at the war. This depresses me but also helped me open my eyes to the terror unleashed upon common man. Towers falling and planes bombing kill millions, but its the mental attack upon billions by both sides that really take the toll. |

i personally interpret it as a guy and girl in love moving apart and starting to hate on another . The relationship is the storm, and its getting harder to hold it all together."Waters getting harder to tread". Cause i'm so used to living underneath the surface" He's learned to only expect pain from the relationship. But he wishes to love her again which shows in the chorus. I know how he feels. |
