To me the first line sounds like 'oh no, another bad day, waste of promises' then 'are we really getting nearer?' i reckon its 'kick off your work shoes...' aswell?! theres a bit that sounds like 'and MTVs so monumental' if that would make sense?? 'take the day off work' is the second to last line and i think its 'home' not 'room' in the second verse! hope that helps, i guess it'll all be on the website soon anyway x |

| arizona night, spot on. I'm not liking the ecstacy thing, but I can't relate to that! The relationship one gets me because I know how he feels. It's another favourite of mine, i especially like 'I really tried, to be what you wanted' I love the way it's such a simple line but it makes me feel kind of sad, but content(?) i think at the same time. I think it's the was Kele sings it though aswell?! Like you know immediatley that he wasn't what she/he wanted, that sounds a bit obvious but... ah i dunno. This song is WAY too good! It's definatley about Bush, Kele said in an article in Q. That's all I have to say, your comments are all really good. I don't think anyone has mentioned 'It's not my fault, it's not my fault (just this once)'... what do you think that's about?? I guess with the next line it could be to do with the young voters not knowing who to vote for, or not admitting it's their fault Bush is in power? I dunno, it doesn't sound like they're educated much about it over there - not meaning to sound stuck up or whatever!! Nobody seems to know enough about politics, I know i dont. Anyways that's all... Glasto was AMAZING too... |
