This is one of my favorite Metallica songs, it is very simple, and it is repetitave. But something about it just catches my ear. I think it's just the atmosphere of it like some of you mentioned. I don't like the solo all that much. One of the reasons someone might say its one of the heaviest Metallica songs is becuase its the only one where they dropped the tuning. So the notes are actually played in an alternate tuning making the sound much darker. I love it \m/(* o *)\m/ |

errr.. if your saying that maiden rips off hatebreed and system of a down, then your a complete jackass. Iron Maiden has been one of the most influential metal bands ever put together and were writing music long before hatebreed and System of a down. If anything they get inspiration from maiden. Bury your dead is good but Maiden is better. |

TheJoeInMe is correct, they broke away from Catholocism but not because they were against god, but because they didnt agree with the methods of the catholic church. The myth goes that they may have even been carrying the Holy Grail along with them to protect it. |
