this song kind of goes along the same lines as "golly, sandra". but in this case, the person is reflecting on it when nothing seems to be going right in their life, and their child is the only thing to cheer them up. "There's one who cares for me today." -at least when the rest of the world seems to be against, you aren't. that's what i get from it. |

i think i read once on the eisley forum that it's "star" and not "scar". yup, straight from boyd's mouth, so to speak. this song could be from a sister's point of view, too, not playing with your little sibling and such, and regretting it later. |
