this song has to be about social phobia. "run away when i feel danger/danger hides in every stranger." that epitomizes social anxiety. i have had SA for ever, and i completely relate to this song. "the right to make a world of your own/escape overrides it all." you spend your life avoiding the things that terrify you, and your world is no longer comprised of the things you desire, but simply the things you can handle. that, and "lorazepam says it will set me free" makes it completely obvious, because as wyld_cannon said, it's a medication for anxiety/depression. |
