*shrugs* i still like this song performed by these two bands, and i think that its great that these guys can make teens enjoy this song and think about it for their benefit of probably never wanting to listen to Bowie or Queen. that's gotta be a good thing since its getting the message across more than it might have done otherwise. so, its all good. |

i dont really care who sang it originally...to me, what matters to me is the fact that two awesome bands came together to sing about something that matters, and the fact that it went towards a good cause... isnt that what we should be praising instead of saying how MCR and the Used didnt originally do this or how Queen and Bowie did a better version...? either way, i love this song, and im sure it has had an overall, positive effect on people. the message of the song is clear. |

i think this is about a dude talking to a girl and he really likes the girl, but the girl doesnt share his feelings, she sees him as a freind, no more no less. he is saying how he knows she sees him as a freind (a freind, the only friend...) but as he goes about his daily life, he needs her there (just to say good luck....) he wants them together (i need us undivided....) hes been told lots that its not gonna happen (ive had the training...) but he still feels for her (but this isnt my war) he doesnt know how or why he feels like this, he just does (couldnt tell you...) i dunno, not entirely sure, only heard this once, but thats my take on it |

i love this song, and it just proves that Blink can write songs that are 'immature' and 'fun', such as whats my age again or the rock show, etc etc, as well as songs with moving lyrics, such as this or down. beautiful lyrics |
