this songs definatly about a girl being raped to me its being told from a close friend or partners point of view, they want to take the pain away from her so she can feel free again i can really really relate to this song it really gets to me everytime i hear it reminds me of the person who i love the most in the world being attacked by some asshole and how much i want to take the pain away for her and hold her until everything is right again i would do anything for her to never feel those emotions ever again |

Wow I agree with thursdaywaiting this song is by far the most emotional on teh cd. WHen i first listened to the whole album this was the one that stood above the rest for me personally. "but i'm thinking of what sarah said, that love is watching someone die" I think they are teh best two lines in the song. It's pretty abviouse what this song is about and i think there are many many people out there that can realate to this song. I think the piano also really adds to it, piano's in song's always manage to emphisise the lyrics i feel. Deifinatly one of the best Death Cab Songs. |

| I can't belive that no one has commented on this song! It is one of the most beautiful and thoughtful songs i have ever heard, definatly amber pacific's best. I think everyone can relate to one aspect of this song in one was or another. I think it was written about a break up but for me personally it reminds me of a preson who walked out of my life a while ago and i still have not really acepted the fact that i will never see them again. | |
