yeah, sure .. i know bands develope. in bad and good ways. what im saying is that i miss like wayyy back to "good charlotte" ... i mean .. some of those songs were "happy" .. doesnt have to be depressing music. i think they fucking rocked that time. also, i think they were alot more .. idontknow. but when you see interviews from that time .. take the video for "festival song" ... i think that descripes what they were all about .. enjoying life. having a blast. they're so mature now. not that its a bad thing ... im not sayin they're doing anything wrong ... i just say, that I personally miss those days :) Could just be because of my nature. |

Must say, I miss the old times. Alot. Like way back to "Good Charlotte". Cant bring it back, but even though they've disappointed me in many ways the last year or so, I still love 'em. This isn't bad - I feared it - but it came out pretty awesome :) To me this song is about living with your misery, and learning how to deal with it the right way. It's telling us, that it isn't the good times, that gives us our personality, but the times when you have to struggle to make it trough. It makes us real. And deep.And if you're going trough hard times, don't drown yourself - The tears make you, you. I dunno .. To me it's just a song about being "happy" about being miserable. Smile at it. "Keep your sadness alive" .. Amazing line :) |

beautiful song. i really love the line; "someday i'll appreciate in value, get off my ass and call you, but for the meantime I'll sport my brand new fashion of waking up with pants on at 4:00 in the afternoon" it really explains how you just completely loose your motivation when you're in physicly pain. you sleep all day, and can't seem to put youself together, get off your ass, and do the things you really should do. fall out boy is absolutely amazing! |
