Actually, my lyric suggestion doesn't make sense at all. The hell does a wet floor have to do with infatuation? =p Came by to fix it, but it seems like someone beat me to it. But I hear "Don't force it when it's just not there", not "I force it when it's just not there"...but they're both close enough. |

This was the first song of their new album I got really attached too. I agree with the others who said it was a dark song, as it clearly is. I have a great, heart-pumping memory of me running in the rain while this song was playing. It felt good. I'm still trying to decide whether the last verse is sarcastic or not. I guess we'll just have to wait for the music video to see. |

I think the lyric you're missing in the first verse is "The floor's so wet it's just not there." But I like this song so far. It's pretty clear what the meaning is, so I won't bother commenting on it. |

Thanks, Bethie09. It's been edited. And yeah...like someone else said, they really did milk "Songs About Jane". Not that I'm complaining, I liked 1.22.03 and Friday the 13th, but it's cool to hear something new. |

@ greeneyedkatydid: Thanks, I think you're right. The only thing that's making me think twice is the number of syllables in that line, but I'll edit the lyrics anyways. But considering I had to type out the lyrics myself by listening to the song over and over again, I think I did I decent job, especially considering Levine's sometimes-hard-to-hear voice. =p |

Who has the time to go around complaining about songs they hate? Oh, and BTW, the song's a little overly emotional, but good nevertheless. |

| I love the song and the band too...but I hate to say that they aren't very good live. Levine's voice is a little too high. But have you seen/heard their performance with Rob Thomas? The wrong part was bleeped out and Rob Thomas got my favourite part of the song wrong. He sang something like "Does it pain, does it burn, does it kill you to learn..."...I hate that bastard now. | |

"but i felt we'd be the same, again. " Thia sounds nothing like the song. To me, it sounds like "Will my life ever be the same, again?" I'm not sure about the lyrics posted here. The number of syllables isn't even right. |
