I agree with BoBBieSTaR03, If the people "hate britney so much......why do u bothe wasting ur time to write shit about her. Me personaly, i'm ok with her as an artist. Her music isn't my style, and i don't care too much for her as a person, but i'm not gonna lie to look cool or punk or whatever and say "i fuckin hate her." and as far as what I think the meaning of this song is, I think she ment to write a sweet song about how she wants to make her man happy, but not realizing that it sounds like she's willing to give her own indapendance, just to satisfy her man. |

what i see in this song is that he was this club or bar or somewhere, and he met this girl that he really started to like. But it was a rumor that she's a lezbian or bi. and the chorus is like their saying, "her last boyfriend, wasn't a guy at all" and how it looked like his old girlfriend, is that after they broke up, she got with this new girl, becomine a lezbian or bi. but hes not sure if this chaos is true, and thats why in the last line in the first verse where he says, "Never thought I'd let a rumour ruin my moonlight" because he doesn't want to find out that it might be true. but thats what i see. |

Like what i mean from my reply above^ is that he was down in a cold, dark, hollow hole in his mind...and his so called "friend" kept pushing him further.....and now hes just so close to give in. and like i said above as well is i can relate to all their song cuz if i'm right about the meanings of thier song, it sounds like thier on a path to self-love.... coming from a very low self asteem mind... and i feel i can relate cuz i never truly loved myself... and am trying to get out of it. |

i think it means that this person is trying to be something they are not. like a person who has been picked on all their life, and finally has a chance to be popular, but has forgotten the people who were there all long through the good and the bad. the 2nd verse, where he sings "I know you feel alone yeah and no one else can figure you out, But don't you ever turn away from the ones that help you down, Well they'd love to save you don't you know they love to see you smile,But these colors that you've shined are surely not your style" like maybe this person doesnt realize that they were loved all along. |

I can see how it might be about a break up... but i get the vibe that its about maybe an untruthfull friend. someone who "said" they'd be there till the end, and "said" they want to help, but in the end brought him down further than before, and how he feels like he's just gotta get away from it all. I love ALL their song, i can relate to every one. :D |
