ok like brightestfirefly i didnt like it at first but it grew on me. and i like her voice but i like johns better therefore he should lead but she should def. sing along. they are great together. and she doesnt do too shabby in now its doen. and yea i think this song is out of place and to me, the lyrics were a bit too obvious...for them. normally the lyrics are awsome and so well put and complicating almost. but these(althogh really good and i like them) they dont seem as good. and the music isnt too bad. i mean i like the Rasmus and this song is along the lines of what the do. |

for me its not REALLY a break up. its like they(the couple) snuck around or something like he had a gf or her parents dont like him. and things are really bad now but("im convinced that wondering what if is the worst this there is/...giving in..." damn good lines) they wont give up what they have. awsome song... |

well, we shouldnt fight about whos right or whos wrong your supposed to write what this song MEANS TO YOU not to him or anyone else.
to me (because of something ive been through) the guy maybe has a gf or something and hes fallen in love with someone who he was just friends with but he realized he loved her ("darling, all of these awkward, jump-start, stalling conversations" fav line that hints that) and he couldnt tell her he loved her so tome the whole song is him fighting with his emotions and wether to tell her he loves her or not. the line "...posibility and promise..." is what would happen if he told her he loved her.
this song is just so awsome. i love every word, but its because ive been through this. |

oh and really thats my own interpretation, i have no idea what he was thinking when he wrote it and personally i dont care because i didnt fall in love with his interpretation of the lyrics, i like my own interpritation. besides this whole web site is for people who get bored and need to speek their mind....lets not take it too seriously, its retarded to argue your opinion against someone elses opinion because obviously in your own minds, youre both right.

one- this is my favorite song....ever.....by any band...
i sorta see where the break up idea comes from, but it makes more since for it to be about religion. the first three lines are about how trying to follow the rules of christianity and all that good shit and how it "takes more time"
and the next two talk about how he used to think he knew it all. he had it all figured out
and alot of other this definitely(cant spell worth shit) hint at religion. "saved by grace" christian term,(and i love the destroyed be naivety part) and later "faith is replaced with a logic...." we know what faith is and the logic. the religion idea just makes since. and ive been going through the same thing basically of realizing how silly religions are(no offence to ayone but a religion is a crutch, an excuse, a way to try to make sence of things or to get people to behave. its not real.) |
