Djevelens Orkester The Devil's Orchestra Now that you're drifting between life and death Wipe away that smirk Cause you don't know what it'll be like Then you can regret you lied And you'll get used to breathing smoke Cause down here you have to face the blows And the conductor is spitting blood He demands maximum effort When his men sing in harmony It applies to sisters, it applies to brothers He makes no exceptions And our law is his word No, not all is like you think So show some respect Cause he's a true master, he's your mother He's your sister He's the conductor of the Devil's Orchestra Here no one has it easy Here everyone's on a diet Over 90% have cancer Here it's hot and smells sweaty Here they fall into the fire And now you know he was right And the conductor's drinkin wine As if it was gasoline Is this what is called dicipline And when he's swinging his baton Out towards the masses Then they sing sha-la-la Here there's no turning back This is how you'll spend your last days Everybody wants to go to heaven When it's too late This song is presumably about people suffering in hell. |

Evig Pint Eternally Tormented If I could just find a hole into heaven To avoid shoveling coal into the great furnace I've been stitched up a 1000 times I'm blind and coughing my lounges up My face looks old and joints are stiff But things will it'll get better if we do it together If we just take it day by day I would just like to hold My father one last time But I'm afraid my heart is too weak I'm eternally tormented All I have is in a chest I'm filled with adrenalin I'm eternally tormented God let me be eternally tormented Put yourself in my place So maybe you'll understand That they'll never let me Into your heaven Six men and six hands hold this coffin tightly Nobody knows who's next in line Soon it'll be my turn. The night is over But no one can tell me what's to be This song is about a man who is terrified of going to hell once the mafia kills him. |

Bak Et halleluja (Behind A hallelujah) Father I must ask forgiveness It's my fault that Tony's packed in a car cover I've broken Monsieur Clavier's regulations You know I can’t take care of him I plead to you. Help, Father help me I'm standing in boots of concrete, Father help me I said, Russian roulette's not a good idea But he felt fine so he forced me along I watched him spin the cylinder he put the barrel between his teeth I’ll pray for you my son Cos by him you've not yet been judged Cos nobody can say no to the amount Monsieur Clavier gave And only Father martin knows what's behind a hallelujah Tony has a genuine double Track him down, set up a contract, give him money You may take a handful out of our collection You may become as most people, or you may become a priest But never return cos your days here are numbered This song is linked with resistansen, rullet, Mr. Kaizer, and others. It is about Tony's brother confessing to the preist because he beleives the fact that Tony died from Russian Roulette is his fault. |

| Kaizers Orchestra – 170 Lyrics | 20 years ago |

170 Relax, we'll soon be returning You know we'll get sufficient funding Now I enlist as a voluntary soldier When I go out I've become a father It was night and it became day and night again I wrote letter after letter but never got one back half a year with shots and open wounds half a year! God, how time goes slow Thank God for the medical corps Cos they sew together recruits and generals The day came and I waited for a signal And I got my last order from the highest in command And he yelled; 170 go out and see if it is clear! No, general, spare me. It's easy for you to send in a voluntary soldier But who'll take care of my wife and my child? 170 is it clear, is it clear? 170 we're waiting for a response As junkboot said, this song is about a volunteer soldier fighting in world war II. He enlists and finds out he's a father, just then he is called to battle, contacts home with no responce and after a long time of combat, bleeding, torment and suffering he still receives no responce. He is ordered to scout out in the battle but he asks the general if he could use a voulenteer, it would be easy, as he is wounded and fears dying before ever seeing his child. He is sent out anyways and this time it is him who makes no responce to the army. |
