I would have to agree with most of you, but I think it can work with most situations. LIke for instance, If it were a drug addiction he would be there waiting to help cause hes been through it before. Or It could be a relationship thing. But basically its about him telling someone he is there for him cause he knows what its like. Like a good friend song. I hope that helps anyone ;) |

GREAT SONG! The Solo in the middle where the two guitars play off each other and the drums fill them both in, is just FUCKING AWESOME! Sometimes I just want to cut that part out and just loop it. And the whole song is just awesome. |

This song hits home on the f-ing dot. I have seen the ones I feel in love, walk away from me. And this song is the anthem for it. And the whole Authority Song right after it. Well that just makes me feel better. Kinda cheers me up, with its upbeat tone. I think they purposly put it there to get listeners to cheer up in a way. Or at least try.
If you like this song, I really Recomend "Goodbye Sky Harbor" 16 mintues of pure enjoyment. Just beautiful music |

I think its about the girl you love breaking up with you. He goes on to talk about how he is sad inside but he wont show it. "but my smile only shows one side of me". And he wants to blame someone and make a big fuss over it. But all he can do is feel upset. All the references to rain is him being upset over it. "It's raining hard again, that'll never change".... he probably wants her back or in his life. but besides all this meanings stuff...
I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG. Mostly cause I can relate to it. And its such a catchy tune. I sometimes just keep it on repeat on my cd player and just listen over and over.
I got to watch them do this live during Ozzfest. And they did such a great job. I had a blast. And being that i work for a radio station, I got a chance to meet them. Very cool guys. Funny too. |

It isnt Daisy, It's DAISIES! HOLDING DAISIES. I doubt there is any reference to people/animals. More like she finally had enough abuse from the relationship. "everything I want, nothing that she needs". It's looks to though as he took her for granted and took more than he gave back to her. Seven Nines and Tens.... I have no clue what that stands for. HEHE It's so funny, how some of the people on here don't understand the whole POT issue. Well understand this kiddies... INCUBUS IS ON POT. And more than likely some other forms of drugs. It's pretty much a blantant fact. There house has a room with a hole in the wall for thier "stuff". Thier music can only be written while in another "mindset". WORD.
As for the song Are you In? It has always made me think about sex. I can understand the pot part, but for me..... its just all about the sex. And by the music video, maybe an orgy.
DIRK LANCE IS AN AWESOME F-ING BASSIST! ...even though no one can beat Les Claypool from Primus. Now THAT man is god on bass. But Dirk can hold his own.

I Love this song to death. It's so fucking amazing. I want to live every moment of my life with this song playing in the back ground. But when I listen to it, I dream of just leaving something or someone you loved behind. and SAVEMEFROMTEARS, its deffinately my funeral song too. I want to people to sit there looking at me with this song playing. I think it will set the mood nicely. It kinda makes you want to cry about something, yet keep strong.
