This song is my favorite Newsboys song. I've seen them live a few times at Creation Fest ((a christian music festival..)) and they are just awesome.
This song is, as others already said, about someone who died.. but they werent mourning for him because he went to a better place.. and it also basically tells people.. Hell isn't a good place to be.. I mean.. they don't even serve breakfast.. lol So you don't wanna go there..
and blinkfanforever- first of all I'd like to say.. Why do you bother looking up artists that you don't like anyways... and second of all... These lyrics are a little messed up but decaf posted the corrected ones so it's alright.. and yeah I think this song is about his emotional scars and looking back on his past and realizing that he's always cared too much about others and not enough about himself. |
