Brilliant song! This is actually the first song that made me appreciate how much Slipknot kicks ass! We all know the moral of this song. Awesome song! I also think this song is referring to john's TBS days. How he tried so hard to make it and have his music be heard. This is an awesome song! I think it is about a previous relationship this guy had. He was most likely best friends with one girl and the started dating. Things went horribly wrong with their relationship. After it ends, she wants him back but he doesnt want to get hurt again. Thats what i gathered from this song. |

This is my very favorite of the early november's songs. I think this song is about finding the beauty within yourself. Who cares what somebody else says about you it only matters what you think about yourself. And it isn't always about looks, but personality. The following line in the song signifies that statement. This song is my favorite by TEN. The thing that I love most about this song is that it reminds me of a relationship that I once had. You feel so strongly about someone and you would do just about anything to be with that person, however, what really sucks is when that person doesn't feel the same way about you. And one of the worst (and most used) lines to here from a girl is "lets just be friends". That really sucks. But any way thats what i think this song is about. |

Great song by Senses Fail. If you know anything about Buddy Neilson you would come to find out that he was raised without a father. Thats why I think this song was written about his personal feelings towards his father. You can tell he still has alot of hate for his father and he conveys that. But Buddy is great because he saying that yeah, i am a bastard but at least i didn't leave my family behind or betray them. |

This song is so real and it really does reflect on the common people today. People don't give a shit about character anymore. They only care about what they look like. Everyone does it though without realizing it. You look at a person and you judge them automatically based on their appearance. The clothes they are wearing, their hairstlye, the shape of their body, etc. Does all that really matter? |

This is definantly one of their best songs. I think it is in the perspective of like a "suspected" mental or crazy person. "I open my eyes, I try to see but I’m blinded by the white light, I can’t remember how,
I can’t remember why, I’m lying here tonight" It just like how a crazy person is an institution and tied down to the bed. Its hard for him because he knows he is not crazy and people just cannot understand him. Besides, there is no such thing as a wierd or crazy person, some people just need a little more understanding. |

This is a very good song and it has alot of meaning. I think it is based upon one of those high school sweetheart relationships. It is the end of high school and they are starting their own lives so they decide to call the relationship quits. He puts on a good face saying that he'll have a good life and he'll be something big. He also compares his relationships in the song. He compares his old relationship with his new relationships. "So you can make a memory from the things you never turned into, In every girl that I'll go through, They'll wonder how good it can get, (Much better than this)" Him getting with all these girls is really a way to suppress his loneliness from his lost lover. |

This is a great song! One of my personal favorites by this band. I haven't figured out who the "you" refers to in the song, it could either be one of his parents, girlfriend, or best friend, but despite all of that heres my point of view. I think it is about a kid with a parent he usually spends his christmas with him/her. They sign cards, open presents, make gifts for each other, ect., but you can tell the relationship is strong. But one year, his parent did not come home for christmas and abandoned him/her because they found a new lover. This feels like betrayal to the kid and he stresses how much they hurts his/her feelings, "I'll forget you next year, I'm torching those pictures you gave me, and my heart, so broke it bleeds, thanks for the christmas you murdered for me". Well thats just my opinnion, thanks for listening. |
