One of the most emotional songs i know, i was introduced to it by my former boyfriend and nearly started crying. How can anyone just listen to this song while driving a car or something? It always makes me think that i am not able to breathe anymore. The lyrics describes the ultimate feeling of being laft alone by the one you love. That song hurts me physically, especially the acoustic version. There are not many song that touches me that way. Maybe Radioheads "exit song", Nine inch nails "hurt" and "something i can never have", the live version of Portisheads "the sour times" and hymies basement "lightning bolts and men hands" are of similar intensity. That is it what makes a good song, touching people, emotionally and even physically. Thom Yorke is brilliant. |

This song will always remind me of my ex-boyfriend. He used to listen to Danzig in his car really loud and i learned to love this band this way, we both sang to this song that we liked most. After he broke up with me I had to listen to it by myself and cry blood and tears meanwhile. |
