i recently got out of a long relationship with someone who i really loved. we both believed we were going to get married in a few years after we both finished school. a lot of things have happened, hence the breakup, and he isnt the same person as he was in the beginning..cliche, but i cant think of any other way to describe it shortly. anyway, i've been listening to a lot of music that will relate to my situation (think damien rice-volcano) and today mae just started playing on my ipod which was on shuffle. i havent listened to them in years. this song came on, and i felt so happy and calm (yet excited at the same time). i love how music can do that to you! to me this song is about hope..even after a dark, unexpected situation. God has a plan for all of us, and sometimes when we don't know why crap happens or what we are going to do..we just have to remember that there is hope and light at the end of this shitty time. :) for me..it reminds me not to become jaded or hardened against other guys or even life in general. it reminds me of the beautiful moments that falling in love can give you. it makes me feel like my heart is going to overflow with love/happiness/appreciation. this is much longer then i intended..hahah oops. |
