This song is so amazing, he sounds so desperate in the end of it, it's different for them, it sounds like one of those cheesy slow dance songs that they'd play in some cheesy high school movie until you get into the lyrics. This song is SO amazing! I just got the cd from my friend the other day and we stayed up all night long analyzing the lyrics, talking about how totally awesome they are, and when we're making our own fan club. I think this song is about people running from the things in society that can hurt you (drugs, violence, that stuff) And they're both afraid that they'll get sucked into it all. "and someone burned the church..." Awesome line! It's like the church was his only hope to be saved and just when he finally gets there it's gone. It makes me want to cry everytime. |

| This is a crazy awesome song, and I agree with Rocky, They really do allude to religon in ALOT of their songs, I think it might have something to do with how much they talk about dying and all of the morbid stuff. That's one of the many things that are so cool about them, They can be so dark and the beat and the melody aren't really ever dreary or sad. If they are religious, I'd think they were catholic, the rosarys, you know that stuff. And as for the car in the desert, *seen it posted here alot* That's the firs thing i thought of when I heard it first. Awesome band, They rock out! | |
