AEnima, although your comments are very hilarious because of their blunt manner, the 13-14 year-olds are apparently too sensitive to laugh them off. They are quite precocious these days.. getting their hearts broken and learning different figures of speech through a rock song. I'm so glad that I downloaded this album illegally instead of paying money. The other songs are really not worth it unless you want you car to fill up with noise pollution. |

I saw X a long time ago.. doesn't the movie end with this song? It's a sad, amazing song. I like the instrumental version too. |

To me, this song is about a guy who lost his lover because he is an alcoholic and didn't realize it til later. It's a beautiful, sad song.. one of my favorites. |

| Something Corporate – Konstantine Lyrics

I have liked SoCo for a while now, but I've always overlooked this one song. I've heard it once or twice when I first bought the album, but it sounded too droning, tedious, and long to appeal to me right away. I forgot about this song until I came to this site and- whoa, this song had well over 1000 comments! I was kind of irritated by all these people praising the song I ignored, so I listened to it a few times.. and I LOVE IT. I can't stop listening to it. Something about the dynamic piano in the background and his melancholic voice and his failed relationship and the thoughtful pauses and the way he repeats "Did you know I missed you".. ahh, it's amazing.
If you like this song, you'll probably like "Inmates" by Goodlife. It's as long as "Konstantine," and the vocals and lyrics are incredible. |
