some of these lyrics are a bit wrong... here are the actual lyrics Feel like a riddle today? Glamorous - and i must say that you are barely ok Meanwhile i fight for reason clamor in hand to defend this my only body stands Take a look around Everything - in turn - will come down Don't depend on this - broken promises They won't hear a sound Last chance to find the way out Rearrange life 'till sundown Fears of a stick in the mud I solved the riddle today Glamorous and i must say That none of us are ok Plant the seed, to grow the tree But save room for the family Evolution turns another ugly hand Suddenly man cannot stand Matchstick starts the fire Pinpoint the blame Through the trees i scream your name (screams) |

| Given that the actual album (which i am looking at right now) calls the songs Drive and Monsters these are the names the band finally decided on, so these are the actual names. | |
| Lifehouse – Fool Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I know this song is probably about god, but when i first heard it the impression i got was that it was the point of view of an infant towards their parents. it just stirs that imagery to me. Think about it - I'm crawling to you, teach me to walk, reaching for you but arms not long enough, trying not to fall asleep etc even though i know this isnt what the song was written to mean i will always see it like this. | |

| Funeral for a Friend – Roses for the Dead Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Some lines are wrong, the lyrics should be- "Just to say we're sorry For the black eyes and bleeding lips And it's hard to forget How many lies we told Or how old we'd grow Before i said goodbye so let's scrape our knees on the playground It's not your fault You feel okay It's too late in the day It's not your fault you feel betrayed You can't come out to play I never listened to a word you never said Wasting the hours now We're all suckers for tragedies and start this over again and you bring us to our knees As sunrise comes and the story will sell A few hundred papers so we'll follow you up So raise your hands up high and let this rain pour on So raise your hands up high and wash us away Like innocence and childbirth you look just like your mother you look just like your father forgive him our father your son is smiling so lay roses around you" Great song. the album booklet says it is "dedicated to the memory of lianne davies and lloyd bird, eternally loved and never forgotten". Clearly a song about the death of loved ones... (which fits perfectly with the name funeral for a friend btw) |

Some of the lines here are wrong, its: "Dear friends of this academy Oh Romeo is bleeding to death To see a friend bleed to death what for, some kind of metaphor that i can't see?" "AND bleed this skyline" not "I'll bleed this skyline" Anyway, beautiful song. You can really hear the emotion in matt's voice and tell how personal the song is to him (I agree its about past alcohol problems). |
