I would have to say I agree with themrfrog. Anybody who doesn't like this song just because it's immature has obviously never known a "Jordan." I've known several "Jordans" in my life, and nothing would give me greater satisfaction than playing this song for them.
Anyway, I think it's a great song. It was one of the first SoCo songs I heard, and it basically got me hooked on them.
I also agree with cosmic_kisses. It's extremely straight to the point. There aren't any clever metaphors or symbolism. It's just Andrew saying exactly how he feels about Jordan. I personally like that.

I read AP, and I was shocked, because it basically sounds like they kicked him out. It was just so surprising because I watched their DVD, which wasn't made very long ago, and they seemed like they were all so close. It makes me wonder what happened.
Now on to the song... I'm not sure where, but I read that basically the entire cd is about Ryan moving to New York, and the pressure from everyone to make good music.

First of all, I have never understood why people always call the members of bands they don't like gay. It's such an insult, right? (FYI -- some of the coolest guys I know are gay)
Second of all, I agree with neonlovechick.
I love this song and I always will. It's basically about how you can have everything in the world but still feel empty because you don't have someone to share it with. |

I agree with TravisBarkerNumber2. Several of my friends have the same attitude as the first verse. They go on crash diets or they don't eat all week so they can lose a few pounds and look good at the dance or something. It's just crazy. |

Ok, first off, I'd like to say that this song perfectly describes something a friend of mine went through this year... Maybe you haven't felt this way before (and I'd have to say you're the luckiest person alive if you haven't), but most people have. Maybe a friend has never betrayed you, nobody's ever spread a rumor about you, or you found out that somebody was just not who you thought they were. So if you haven't experienced anything like this, don't complain that the lyrics are whiney or dumb. Bronze_Iris has it exactly right when they say that social circles are vicious -- teenagers will do anything to get themselves a little more popular, including putting down their friends. Just my opinion though.
