First off, Amazing Song. One of my favorite songs EVER, only succeded by Pitiful. I seem to be having a hard time understanding whether or not the term "sleepwalking" is a negative or positive term. And so I have two slightly different interpretations of this song. If "sleepwalking" is something positive, then maybe it's talking about how since we(those who are saved) are "not of this world" and are "new persons", then we are basically sleepwalking while all the sin and destruction goes on around us.And that it is God who is waking him up, saying that it's time to go to our real home-Heaven. Now, if "sleepwalking" is a negative term, which I seem to lean more towards, then I think what this song is talking about is how many times, we can get caught up just doing ths same whole religious routine. It is sad, however true that SO many ppl used to be on fire for God, but since have gotten so used to it that it has just become a monotonous routine hence the term "sleepwalking". I think God is trying to wake him so that so that he can live for God completely. "but i guess I'm just sleeptalking for myself"...the person has become so impassionate that the rest of the world finds his life to be of little value to them in helping them live there own lives. As new people in Christ, we should be able to help direct those who have yet to find God, so that one day we can stand face to face before God and now we have done what he wanted of us, and so we can say our Goodbye to the world. |

In a way I agree with bqvolley10. Im not completly sure if it has to do with a car accident, but it is definately not interpreted through the eyes of the victim. The person talking has obviously made some big mistake/mistakes. He knows what he has done and really regrets it. It could be about a relationship but Im not sure. All I know is that the person is really troubled because he knows its too late to redo or mend the mistake he has made. I think we have all made really big mistakes in our lives that just eats away at us cuz we know that we can't go back and fix our mistakes. The video with the whole drunk driver is a good way to look at it though. Love the song. |

This band is awesome. I love the way they go from one guy singing to the other screaming. I love the video too. Its cool how they're all basically dressed the same. The camera shots and angles are sweet too. I think that is a big part in what makes this video so awesome. |

Im not completly sure what this song means, but I think denmil24 comes the closest. Basically I think there talking about posers. Since this band is Christian, I take it that it implies people who might pretend to be good, honest, (etc.) in front of one group of people, but then act totally different in front of another group. "So hide yourself for now.... but we caught you plotting murder..." basically says that someone can fool us for now, but God sees all and eventually that person is gonna be discovered. Empires will fall and secrets will be revealed. This song is awesome and the video is even cooler. I love videos that kinda keep you guessing how it relates to the song. As far as I can tell the song and the video basically have to do with the stuff I just wrote.
