Well, thelesserthreat, you argue a good point. It is true that everything sort of fell down on bush after clinton but you can't fail to admit that bush DID royally fuck things up. And we know that the whole bush/kerry thing isn't black and white, but you just had to choose one to be the head of your state, it rests entirely in YOUR hands, who would you honestly pick? Mull over it for awhile. And yeah, i did the some things with the pages, got to 8 then just jumped to 46. It's very undestandable. And i totally agree about that arab thing that you talked about, that kind of talk pisses me off too. |

BillieJoeIsAGenius... love the username! I love this album and in this song when he's all "So when the smoke clears here I am, Your reject all-American, Fallen from grace right on my face.." Because if you think about it, he IS the physical embodiment of the reject all-American. He smokes pot, has tatooes and piercings, didn't go to college and masturbates. HE IS THE REJECT ALL-AMERICAN. In comparison to the I'm blond-went to college-have a big job-happy marriage-white picket fence ideal. And i like the new album even if most of the green day fans on this site don't. It's a cool concept album and one of the most intriguing storylines in punk-rock: where will they go next? From a band that a few years ago looked like they were content to live off their back catalogue. Go them. (Also, their mysterious stolen album supposedly followed a more linear pop pattern than prevoius ones. It was stolen, no-one was fired, it never went on the internet and their co-producer then told them that he thought it was shit. Smell fishy to any1 else?) |

OBVIOUSLY Billie Joe is VERY anti-republican (check out the whole album) I love the bit in this vid when pretend shoots himself and the little dance he does when he sings "now everybody do the propeganda" the lyrics posted are wrong, the last line of the chorus is "for that's enough to argue". IT EVEN SAYS IT IN THE SLEEVE OF THE ALBUM! Billie Joe is hot beyond belief, any1 else got the new edition of American Idiot with the DVD? Wake Me Up When September Ends got released yesterday. I think this song is one of their best, the back beat is so strong and sure of itself an dI'm totally addicted to it! I love the way Billie Joe talks about being drunk (or stoned, or women-in other songs) in a way that nobody else does! Green Day rock and they're one of my fav bands. I may have only just become hooked but I now own 4albums and know i will be a lifelong fan. Any1 else have the new edition of American Idiot or think Billie Joe is hot beyond belief?
