It seems as if maybe he's developing a secret drinking problem, but tries to mask it with acting happy and nice. And the drinking is called celebrating, because maybe something happened that made him want to start drinking again.
Either these lyrics are very blunt, or there is symbolism I haven't quite found yet. |
