The Beatles – Carry That Weight Lyrics 17 years ago
This song was written by Paul, and it was a shout to John...that because of him breaking the band apart with Yoko Ono, he was going to have to "carry the weight" of having broken up THE BEATLES to be with this girl for the rest of his life. It was also written about himself, because after Brian Epstein died and Paul started managing the band, he realized how much of a huge undertaking it really was, and that he had to "carry the weight" of running this megaband.

Dream Theater – A Change of Seasons Lyrics 19 years ago
This song has kind of an eerie meaning for me...

You see, I have a mental disease called Seasonal Affective Disorder, and each year the winter brings me into a deep depression which i almost never believe i will live through, it is a feeling very unimaginable or indescribable, which are always experienced after a carefree summer where i can finally live my life with no worries, often in a natural high, but I always let it slip through my fingers without finishing anything important.

The whole lyrics, they really just mean that to me.

Dexys Midnight Runners – Come On Eileen Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this song is about a boy and a girl, who after being friends all through childhood, are starting to lose their innocence in adolescence (and we all know how hard it is in adolescence to maintain opposite-gender childhood friends without becoming a little more than friends ; ) ) and are now caught up in hormonal teen heat, and this kid is "singing" just like his father, in now feeling that "urge", and his mother is becoming sad that she is losing his son to this girl.

The Beatles – Here Comes the Sun Lyrics 19 years ago
kmk is right.

I guess that harrison probably had a condition known as Seasonal affective disorder. I have it, and I know it's fairly popular over in G.B., but it wasn't discovered until the mid 80's. To people with SAD, the sun means everything, and in may/june it lets us be happy and we get our energy back after the depression and lethargy we suffer in winter. It really sounds like Harrison could have it, the way the whole song is written, and I know it sounds exactly how I feel right about this time of year, just gettting my own self back again, being happy, relaxed, and everythings alright agian.
