| Metallica – Phantom Lord Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| yeah, his band was phantom lord before, but do you know if he wrote this song when he was in phantom lord or when he was in metallica? Im not sure about that but I think I heard from Ron that James wrote at least some of it when he was in Phantom Lord the band. | |
| Metallica – The Prince (Diamond Head cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| yeah I think its a preatty good song too, you should listen to the orignial if you havent already, though metallica does a great cover of it! | |
| Megadeth – Mechanix Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I like version on the old metallica demos, if you havent heard it yet you should hear it. I think it sounds better and its not as fast, which I like for this perticular song. Love mustaine and metallica! And this is what they can do when they're combined. A true work of art! | |
| Diamond Head – Am I Evil? Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I like the song..but did you guys know that the intro is acctaully a symphony part taken from some symphony names 'The Planets'. The think the intro to 'Am I Evil' is form the section called Mars which is the planet of war. Just a little bit of information you might not have already known. I like the diamond head version a little better than teh metallica version. I think the guys voice in diamond head fits the song a little more, but they're both good! |

| Metallica – Crash Course in Brain Surgery (Budgie cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Budgie didi a really good job with this song, however with that said. I cannot listen to two minuets of the original recording without finding the singers voice incredibly annoying. Its has good guitar, good drums, good music, good lyrics, but get a good singer! | |
| Metallica – Jump In The Fire (Demo) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I really enjoy the early metallica stuff, I mean early as in 80, 81, 82, pre Kill em all. I really like seeing what the songs would have been and could have been. Its also pretty cool to just look at the history. I enjoy this lyrics to this song maybe more than the ones on Kill em All...but thats probably just becuase they are different. I dont know. | |
| Metallica – The Four Horsemen Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| yeah...dont bring religion into heavy metal. its not gonna work and its just plain not cool | |
| Metallica – No Remorse Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I think this song has something to do with faith and now you should just sorrta live how you want without thinking too much about god and the afterlife(if there is one). Although James does make lots of referances to war...which I cannot explain. but did you'll know? There were two very early metallica songs when the band lineup was: James: Vocals Lars: Drums Grant: Guitar(all gutiar) Ron: Bass Anyway they wrote two songs called 'Hansom Ransom' and 'Lets Go Rock N' Roll.' Then they put riffs from those two songs together to make No Remorse. Pretty Cool Huh? Just a fun little fact you might not have known already. |
