Described briefly, it's about Leni, who was a friend of Hitler and admirer of his leadership. She tries to justify her actions, and life - eg 'I followed my muse, I followed nothing else' she was also quoted in life to (roughly) say 'I know nothing about politics' (It's off the top of my head! don't quote me exactly on it.)
She made a film called Triumph of the will, also mentioned in Ich Errinere by World Inferno. |

It is a bit extreme with the money part of the song, but i see it more as to talking about the really extreme religions and cults like the terrorist thing and 'kill yourself, and you get to go to heaven!' side of religion.
I really don't agree with the 'they just want your money' bit though. I haven't come across any religion that does that yet, they may have a donation box sitting outside, or something along those lines, but they don't force you, as far as I know. It's your decision anyway if you want to give anything.
Definitely not the best DK song.

Before I came to look at this song on this site and before I read your comments I was Certain it was about self harming. I am cutter, and thats how the some seemed to me. However now I've read all your other opinions, I suppose there are other ways of looking at it so to see it in a different view. Oh well, in a way thats good, it shows the individuality. |

I agree, there's so many great non-mainstream bands out there that are so great and unknown. The goo goo dolls aren't bad.. they come in joint place with the replacements. I love the way this song makes you try and empathise with him at end. |

This song is great, not just as part of the story of the album, but even just on it's own. I love the way the mood througout it.
Its tells so much in this song that i can't simply do it credit by explaining like this, and im in class now so i cant write a lengthy explanation. It is an amazing track from an amazing album. I wasnt allowed to get it so i got a friend to copy it for me.
