| I agree with the comments above. It's the biggest question in life, do we die? Is it the end? There really isn't a true answer to this question though. I think Serj wants us to use our own faith to answer the "QUESTION!" Everybody believes in something different and it's up to each individual person to come up with their own answer. | |

Well, obviously this song has to do with getting revenge on someone, and here i think it's getting revenge on a cheating girlfriend or something like that. I'm not sure if this is right but atleast its what I think. My sweet clementine could be the name maybe and poisoning clementine's drink and watching her suffer is getting revenge. The lines about her saying, "Go away," could be her trying to break up. And the lines "should have been....etc." means that if you didn't screw up the relationship, you would have been the one. Just my interpretation |
