This song is one of the most emotional songs on his album. I jus LOVE the bitterness and hate conveyed in his voice when he talks about the other guy " I DIE when you mention his name" Man you gotta LOVE that line lol. I listened to this for day after day for weeks...This girl that I liked had broken up with her boyfriend because he cheated on her but she still liked him...Everytime she mentioned him, I would just break down inside... |

K, lets add a new twist to this...I think hes hinting at God all the way through this song. "I cant live with or without you" You cant live forever if you dont know God, but if you DO know God, then you cant live a life of sin... for example "On a bed of nails she makes me wait, and I wait without you" So he can go on and live life with whores and sleep with anyone but without God. "You give yourself away" Talks of Jesus giving himself to be killed... Meh, jus my thoughts on this song |
