The name of this album is subliminal verses. So it has to do with unconscious mind. Maybe there are more than one souls in one body(duality?) and one is me and the other is like virus. And i like this virus .Every time it appears i love it and i will let this virus take control over my thoughts and over my feelings . So this virus is like a woman as it makes me nervous and sometimes i want it to come home(to my conscious mind) and sometimes i get tired of this fucking virus that wants to kill me. Then i say to my virus: u cannot kill what u did not create.So i won't let this virus kill me and every time it appears i will push my fingers into my eyes until it goes away.Then i am a master. But some other day (when i am alone in my cave(u know, u know-"come see my cave,built in migrane")) it will beat me and i will be a slave. So i am a slave and i am a master.I am a slave and i am a master to my virus. [But maybe my meaning is wrong and sick (these are only some thoughts about this song and about this Slipknot album).So decide by yourself] [ i saw a nightmare - Corey singing with elton john and the backstreetboys their best love songs. For me Slipknot and Metal isn't all about love . Pop music is about love.So when i want to hear love songs (which are completely meaningless) i will listen to pop.I hope Slipknot will not be a pop-band, because i am a maggot . Before i heard duality , i didn't knowanything about slipknot or metal.I found that slipknot songs are all about what i think.Duality demonstrated me slipknot and slipknot demonstrated me metal.Duality isn't one of my favourite slipknot songs but i like it.So sometimes slipknots songs have to be heard in radio because then some ordinary people become true maggots.I was ordinary man with some sick thoughts before i became a maggot (with sick thoughts of cource). sorry my bad english. |

This song is abouta virus that makes man sick(like a "diluted" man or a guy from "Me inside"). The virus creeps and grows in our unconscious mind and attacks us when we do not expect it. This virus of life makes us desperate and crazy, so we want to die , we cry and have pain inside us. Not everybody is infected.They are lucky.But some people are infected and if the virus attacks they are sick of themselves and this world and sick of people around them (so people =shit) |
