| Megadeth – The Killing Road Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think it's just about an adrenaline junkie going down a road really fast to make his journey less boring "It's just too damn long, that's all." and crashes and hits someone else and dies, there's a picture of the road in the remasters booklet in the background of the lyrics to this song. I don't think there's a deeper meaning. | |

| Led Zeppelin – Achilles Last Stand Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This was Led Zeppelin's last good song. This album, Presence and the previous album, Physical Graffitti both lacked the ingenuity of the four shown on their previous 5 albums. There are only a few tracks on both of the previously mentioned albums that i would say are worthy of Led Zeppelin. They simply began losing their touch at Physical Graffitti apart from one or two tracks, whereas on their previous albums, all the tracks had that hint of genius. Anybody else agree? | |
| Led Zeppelin – No Quarter Lyrics | 20 years ago |

this is obviously about war, i think it's to do with war in LOTR, but definitely war. "They're wearing steel that's bright and true They carry news that must get through. They choose the path where no-one goes. They hold no quarter." Steel meaning the mithril armour Frodo wears. News could possibly be the ring that has to get to mount doom. The path where no-one goes being when Sam, Frodo and Gollum go across that swampy bit. "No Quarter" means taking no prisoners. It was an old term used on ships during battles at sea. I don't know what relevance it has here, though. |

god, all the people mispelling "Page." JPJ really doesn't get enough credit. You know his real name is John Baldwin? I've got the original vinyl of Led Zeppelin II and it credits Page, Plant, Bonham and Baldwin. Oh yeah, and if you want to have an argument over who wrote their songs, rip your cds onto comp with WMP and it says exactly who, it even accredits Willie Dixon on the tracks where they stole his lyrics. |
