aaaaalright...i have no alibi or excuse for being at an aaron carter sight...cant say that i came here from the tool sight, i simply was curious to see what everyone thinks of this little kid's sad excuse for music. kristen, hopefully by now you are grown and more mature and by God if you are reading this, please notice how all the poppy shit that has been made in the past decade has not been remembered..at least none of HIS stuff has been, except maybe "and that's how i beat shaq" which is quite sad that i even remember that. what im trying to say is, if you want good meaningful music, look for the stuff that is still around in 20 years. the classic stuff that people actually write and put thought into. i fuckin cant stand little fucks who dont appreciate real music for what it is. listen to any of the old zeppelin stuff and your mind will probably explode from the creative originality. and if you want a song with some meaning, one you can actually research and think about, listen to any song by The Mars Volta or even Dave Matthews for God's sake.. hopefully youve been enlightened my dear. |

the first time i heard this song i thought it would get faster and pick up any time now..lol but it didnt. even though this song is my least favorite musically on the new album (which is not even bad because i freakin LOVE the new album), i think it is one of those songs that makes you think. It makes you just apply the context to whatever could be going on in his life, most likely the political deal that everyone is talking about above. good idea and a good song to think to. |

Don't know about all that ^^^^...you on drugs bud? What i get from this song is that he is simply remembering and reminiscing on the thrills of his youth and how everything was so exciting and pure when he was an innocent kid. Favorite part of the song is the way he sings
"Screamin', shoutin, louder innocence"..i like the way it flows. Oh and i think that it's "smokin' under the railroad bridge"..thats what im hearing...anyways i love DMB, cant wait to see them in concert July 13th woo countin down the days!! |

i agree with CrayonDrawnCat, a "mainstream" keller song is not mainstream at all. He is one of the few actually talented and creative people left in the industry and of course since he's talented, that means only a select few people with good taste listen to him. That's why i love the guy. anyways this song is great and i just posted Kidney in a Cooler and Bob Rules from his Laugh album so yall should all go put in your two cents for those songs. |

kmk natasha, i think that since we do happen to be on the website named song MEANINGS, whether it happens to be american football or soccer could play a big role in the song's meaning. Or it could not, but the point of this website is for people to discuss whether they think such things because every word has a specific meaning. The way i perceive this song is that it's about young love- not necessarily love but what one inexperienced young person would call love. He has never felt this before so he is confused and being mislead by another. Basically he is probably in high school and some girl is playing with his feelings (nothing against girls, i happen to be one but i know how all that goes). |
