| Pulp – F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E. Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| As usual with Pulp, this song is gritty realism. 'This isn't chocolate boxes and roses' is a great line. Love comes when you least expect it and sometimes it's unwelcome and totally screws you up. It's NEVER what the books and movies tell you it'll be. | |
| James Blunt – Tears And Rain Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Dorian Gray is a character from Oscar Wilde's 'Picture of Dorian Gray' he sells his soul to stay forever beautiful, young and innocent looking like a portrait of himself. He commits all kinds of sins and evils but none of this shows. The portrait is hidden in an attic where it become old and ugly and shows the evil inside him. He ends up killing himself at the end by stabbing the portrait. Basically it 'hides his true shape' | |

It's a fairly obvious one really, but I do like 'At half past two I picture her in the back of someone else's car he runs his fingers through her hair oh you shouldn't let him touch you their' Sounds to me like the sentiment of The Killers' Mr Brightside a fair few years earlier. All those things running through his mind about what she's up to while he sits and dwells. |

| Easyworld – A Stain To Never Fade Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I totally agree with racquel. I think he's kidding himself at the start when he says it's 'his' worst mistake because it switches sides when he gets more passionate about it. It's something he knows he shouldn't have done and knows the other person will never feel the same way but might just keep using him, and he'll let them. This song means a lot to me, 'nuff said. | |
