Well in my opinion, I see Tom as Satan (the anti-christ soon to come). He obviously proves he has powers because it says in the lyrics "the building turned it's back ignored my call" which means he can talk to inanimate objects. The "building" repersents God as it is stated in the Bible in Exodus 3:12-14. Also "the concrete looks too thin to break my fall" means that he has so many sins burdened him even concrete withstand the weight of his sins, so he is eternally damned to hell. Mark on the otherhand repersents Jesus, our saviour, loving lord, and the Prince of the Universe. Also after Tom(satan) "falls" off the building, he still sings, which means that he is not dead. This proves that he is not human, therefore Satan. Thats my opinion, feel free to comment |
