| i see this pretty much as everyone mentions, kids growing up fast, in the city they start doing it younger and drinking younger and all that...but the last verse really captures davey's side of things, because he is vegan, and also straight edge, so he believes that alcohol destroys the body and the mind and is fake, so thats wat with every shot and sip means, and he has fallen off the drinkin bandwagon, everyone is doing it except him, so now all his friends are gone, and he is falling, faster then can be expected, because, as it says in the song, wasting away the prime of your life, he doesn't want to do that...and i feel proud of what davey does it takes courage to do it and strong belief in urself and he had it, and still does...congrats davey | |

finally, i found the song lyrics to the new album by stroke 9!...lol i think this song relates alot to the song 'do it again' by stroke 9...so that pretty much says this song is just bout sex...he is obviously talking about his girl, and how they have 'fun'... pretty easy to understand, and tis a good song |

i like it how they put out an acoustic album, pays tribute to 'beatz' so well, he was there drummer and all and to produce an album with no drums is a great way to show how much they loved him... brilliant songs, says goodbye quite nicely...:'( |

omg this song has been out for ages, and no one has noticed. this lullaby song is the best on the cd, wonderful song, and has been on here for ages. i think it is about someones love has left them. and (im guessing its in a guys point of view) his singing it like she is lost, and that he can't find her. that his a wreck since shes been gone, she made him one by leaving. the third verse stumps me. 'My hope is on the horizon Every face your eyes I can see I plead and prey, though each night and day Our embrace is only a dream.' i think it might be that only in his dreams are they together. i don't know, im just starting everyone off to write about this wonderfull song! |

yea, i just think this song is about: this person, a boy, is trying to hook up with this chick at the bar, and his waited 17 tracks to make a move on her, and wa starting to be fed up, his trying to but can't, and by heaven aren't close in a place like this means, u can't get everything your way. and then someone told him that she had a bf, and his not goin to let the rumour ruin his moonlight. the chorus in which you guys are confussed about is, that her bf, if the rumour was correct, might just look like a girl, and then he kind of gave up, he has more potential then that. the 2nd verse kinda stumps me a bit, but he might have gave up, and his leaving without her...don't know. this is him pleeding with the girl that he can get her, he doesn't know, he wants to try...something like that for the third verse, and yea, thats just what i think, most probably wrong, like i always am, but u get that sometimes |

sorry guys but yea, i can see how u guys think that. but wat i think it means is this person likes another person, and has been stalking him/her, to learn more about this person, 'In my car on your street is where I stay I know you better that way One day I'll be meeting you for real You'll feel bad like I feel' and when they final gets the nerve to talk to this person, when he/she knocks on his/her door, to give them the special delivery, his heart. the voices are his/her friends telling them that they have a chance, and the last bit 'But you can't kill a man when he's got no hope' just means that they don't think they're goin to get this persons, so when they get rejected it won't hurt that much. thats just what i think at lease |
