i think the song has a very good message, yes its about groupies getting dragged down into that kind of situation, but look at the line, "You know I'm the one you want. I must be the one you need" So Plants saying that there needs to be something more than them just wanting to shag him. |

its good that people hear are capable of reading the album sleeve.
the reference "break a leg Frank" refers to Frank Zappa who i think fell of the stage, and they just heard about it while they were recording |

Ruddy american accents, i just hear, "i mow the lawn" instead of "i walk alone"
"somethimes i wish i could sing happy songs, but until then i mow the lawn" |

Maybe this is about the Elves comming to middle earth? Joke. I read somewhere that Led Zeppelin wrote this as a joke and everyone took it to have a serious meaning, maybe there talking about theirown invasion of America. |

Isnt this song based on Japanise proverb, not Christian or African. At the time Queen did loads of eastern style music, Teo Torrette for example. This is the best song on Night at the Opera by a mile. |

Its a brilliant song, i kinda place it as a cross between Bohemian Rhapsody and Kashmir, its a shame they couldnt ever play it live. I want to hear the version at the tribute concert that Robert Plant sang, does anyone know if it was any good? |

In an interview with May he said that loads of their early work was heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin, (if u compare their two first album covers theres loads of similarities in the layout, name and style) apparently Queen used to warm up in the studio playing immigrant song (wouldn't mind hearing that) but i reckon Seven seas is just their own version of it, theres deffinately similarities with Norce mithology, there both brilliant, just a shame they had to fade in "o i do love to be beside the seaside" at the end. |
